I fear I have become "that girl." The one that won't shut up about some annoying thing going on in her life. Well it's not my fault that faculty members keep coming in the library while I'm at work or that I keep running into old friends from Freshman year who ask if I'm graduating.
The answer is always a resounding "Yes!" However--I've also picked up a new obnoxious compulsion: splurting out immediately, "BUT I'M MOVING TO SCOTLAND IN SEPTEMBER!!!"
I'm thinking about writing to the American Psychological Association about a new form of Tourette's. Maybe my contact up in DC can get me the hook up.
What's going on in YOUR life? I'm tired of hearing about my plans to move to Scotland.

Hey! Be proud of your accomplishments! If I were going to Scotland, I would wear a t-shirt! I also feel the same way about my face on the uga website. Random strangers are congratulating me and I just feel awkward and stand there shifting back and forth. We can be 'that' girl together if you want.
